Talk Like a Placenta

As I was saying, today is Talk Like a Pirate Day. Which is, you know, awesome. Except that Helen the giant placenta feels left out.

Post your best Talk Like a Placenta phrase here to win a free e-copy of Placenta of Love!

Talk like a Pirate for a Free Story!

It’s Talk Like a Pirate Day!

You know what this means, right? It means it’s an excellent day to order Placenta of Love and brush up on your pirate lingo with the help of Captain Carl the Robo-Pirate!

As an extra bonus, if you order Placenta of Love (either print or e-copy) between now and my birthday (September 25th) and send me a copy of your receipt, I’ll send you a special short story, not yet available to the public.

Email your receipt to spikemarlowe at gmail dot com.

Placenta of Love  is available at Amazon, Barnes & Noble or through your favorite indie bookshop.

Project: Planned Parenthood

I just got home from Burning Man to word that lots of copies of Placenta of Love were bought last month.

I’m thrilled so many of you wonderful beautiful people purchased copies of Placenta of Love so low income ladies could get Well Woman exams provided by Planned Parenthood.

Thank you, to every one of you who purchased a copy of Placenta of Love, spread the word or donated to Planned Parenthood.

Of course, the journey doesn’t end here. Politicians are still fighting for and against women’s reproductive rights. Bad stuff is still happening in the world. But if we fight for what’s important to us, are creative and use art to spread the word, we can make the world a better place.

Thank you for helping me make this small piece happen.
